PERFORMANCE AND REPAIR OF ORDINARY STRUCTURAL WALLS SUBJECTED TO WIND AND SEISMIC LOADING PROTOCOLS
The Charles Pankow Foundation (CPF) is pleased to announce the award of a new research grant to University of California, Los Angeles and Principal Investigator John W. Wallace, Ph.D. to conduct large-scale testing on ordinary reinforced concrete walls with C-shaped and rectangular cross-sections to develop performance-based wind design (PBWD) recommendations for ACI Committees 375 and 318. The outcome of this research is vital in implementing PBWD in practice.
